Omni Berkshire Place

May 21, 2017

I think I have an addiction to terrace view rooms in New York. I guess once you’ve had a taste of the luxe life you don’t want to go back and believe me, the room we stayed in at the Omni Berkshire Place was nothing short of spectacular!

Conveniently located on 52nd Street between Madison and 5th Avenue in the heart of Manhattan, the Omni Berkshire Place provides you with the power to choose when and how you access all that New York has to offer (and we’re all about that convenience right?). Nearby to the hotel are headquarters of Fortune 500 companies, 5th Avenue and the best shopping, theatre and historical attractions in the city. Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall and the greatest musical theatre anywhere in the world aren’t just a cab ride away — they’re mere steps away. The location of this hotel is just perfectly where you want to be in midtown Manhattan.

For the weekend we stayed on the 17th floor in a premier executive room with a private terrace (and boy was the view AH-MA-ZING!). What I loved about the Omni Berkshire Place was that the rooms were designed with the feel of an Upper East Side residential townhome, while keeping them spacious and larger than most Manhattan accommodations (I felt like I was teleported onto the set of Gossip Girl). It’s also good to note that this hotel is pet friendly – so you pet lovers this is the hotel for you!

When you first enter the hotel lobby you’ll be enchanted by the interiors and the chandeliers. The staff are also amazing and very friendly. They assisted us with our bags to the 17th floor and when we saw our room we were delighted. The room we stayed in also featured our own terrace and an in-bath jacuzzi – how fancy!

I absolutely loved how cozy our room felt. It was small enough to feel homely but also big enough to have a terrace view! The view was also extra amazing because we got a corner room so make sure you request that if you wanted both streets on view.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my experience at theOmni Berkshire Place hotel. Make sure to let me know your experience if you’ve stayed here before.

It’s so perfect that Omni Berkshire Place is located right in the heart of Manhattan! Yes, convenience is the best! I was immediately blown away by how grand the lobby looked and I totally get where you are coming from, it’s hard to not compare everything from luxe stays! How incredible that you stayed premier executive room with a private terrace! Before you even said Gossip Girl, that’s exactly where my mind went! How incredible that you can bring a furry friend! We almost never take your pet anywhere anymore after having children though! 2 babies AND a dog is a bit more than I want to take on while traveling! The room looks so cozy and modern! Definitely a great place to unwind after seeing some of what NY has to offer!

I’m so blown away by Omni hotel and how luxurious it is. Your room looks so amazing and I agree with you, corner rooms are the best because you get the best view.

Aww Mandy you’ve been traveling and experiencing so many amazing Hotels as of late, It must be so luxurious.
Omni hotel is a name i’ve vaguely heard of before but after reading this post, it’s definitely something i’ll be remembering. Who wouldn’t want to stay in midtown manhatten and wake up to a view of towering buildings surrounding you. I love being just steps away from all the exciting tourist site / buildings. If you were only steps away from Rockefeller, I really hope you had the chance to go because the view from that building is AMAZING from what i remember a few years back!
and believe it or not I’ve always wanted to bring my cat with me when traveling because I feel like they’ll be so sad and lonely at home, it’s always a nice option to have when it comes to booking a hotel in my opinion.
Your bedroom interior looks super cozy and I just love how you also had a jacuzzi because i swear I always bring bath bombs with me when I go traveling because it’s all about that pampering haha!

I need to start doing what you are doing. It’s like a new hotel every week and I am loving it. I feel that I am living through what you are doing a little. I love that you share these awesome hotels and it makes me want to get out to NY right away. Everything about this stay seemed so magical and luxurious. Was there a rooftop bar on the top of the hotel? I feel the inside looks very familiar. I might have been there before. I’m really bad at remembering names so I could of been in the hotel, but totally not remember the name. I’m getting better at remembering luxurious places like this though This is one that will definitely stick in my brain.

Oh Mandy, you have the best selection when it comes to hotels! I really love the idea of the roof terrace for huge and built up cities like this coupled with the plush and classic interiors of the rooms. The Omni looks like the perfect place to call home with its grand but yet welcoming lobby and rooms.

Oh man! There’s no wonder you stayed at this hotel. It seriously look amazing! I’ve been meaning to go back to NY for some time now but just haven’t had the time or money to really plan it out. Is it close to a subway station? I love all the decor and how homey it feels! Also that jacuzzi is seriously divine! It’s a definite plus when you go to a hotel and they have that there. Thanks for sharing your traveling adventure!

I love hotel reviews and I love your hotel reviews in particular, Mandy! The Omni Berkshire Place seems to be situated perfectly right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan and although I don’t mind walking distances (especially on a lovely warm night on Manhattan) I wouldn’t complain about the location as it’s basically near everything and despite being basically fully booked for my visit to NYC in July I won’t go on ranting about how much I love Broadway and musicals… As for the hotel itself it totally has that Gossip Girl vibe going on and the room itself really looks homely, but luxurious and that huge terrace adds to the experience for sure! I’ll definitely keep this in mind for upcoming visit to New York.

The Omni is always a great chain with reliable services and some of their locations have the best views such as this one. The Omni berkshire has such a great location in the middle of Manhattan and near everything! The lobby looks so pretty and the in room jacuzzi is def luxe. Since I just went to NYC, I have to bookmark it for future trips.

Oh yes completely agreed on once you’ve had a taste of the luxe life you don’t want to go back!! I have to say when I go to the big apple location is the main thing I look for. The Omni hotel looks well located and the view is just amazing. Waking up with a beautiful view is just priceless. Absolutely love your hair too Mandy!

I actually grew up near an Omni hotel in Vietnam and always wished I could stay at an Omni hotel some day hehe. This Omni Berkshire place is the perfect hotel in Manhattan. The location sounds great and I cannot believe it’s a pet friendly hotel. It’s so hard to find accommodation that allows pets in the middle of Manhattan. I love everything about it too, the lobby, the in bath jacuzzi and the terrace. Just small details like those will make any stay feel so luxurious and complete. I would definitely love to stay here in the near future!
